Serafini: Delight in Authentic Italian Cuisine in Frankfort, KY

Excellent restaurant from start to finish. Tried to book a reservation online, but nothing was available. So we called Serafini direct and got 7:00. Service was excellent and the food was amazing!! Highly recommend

Party of 8 for lunch and everything was perfect. Angie Beadle, our server, was excellent. She knows everything about the menu and made great suggestions. Beautiful restaurant. We drove from Lexington and our family drove from Louisville to eat at this wonderful restaurant in Frankfort!

First time I had a bland oysters, the spaghetti and meatballs were perfectly cooked but lacking of seasoning, same with the bruschetta and chicken parmesan it’s bland. The kitchen also pretty slow although I understand because they were busy but the taste of food they just need to improve on. I think the pasta bolognese is the good one.

Beautiful day to sit out on the sidewalk patio for our wonderful salads. Very historic street and area, made for a lovely setting for a summer days meal. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Food came timely and was delicious. I would say the salads were on the small side for the price of $8. They were side salad size. The inside of serafino's looks very lovely, tablecloths on the tables, fun lights scattered around. Maybe next time we're in town will try the inside seating. Thanks

Seriously delicious Italian food!!! Reasonably priced for food quality and portion size. Friendly service staff and attentive management. Atmosphere was a mix of nice but also casual…not pretentious or too fancy. We were beyond pleased. The wait for our food did take a while but we were warned of this upon our arrival (without a reservation for 5). We weren’t in any hurry, happy to just be together, so the wait wasn’t an issue for us. And when we did finally get our meals, it was worth the wait. Our group ordered the lasagna, chicken parm, lobster ravioli (2), and their signature pasta. We all loved what we ordered. We also shared two appetizers, the bruschetta and stuffed mushrooms and both were delicious. We were in Frankfort for a Girl’s Weekend Bourbon Trail trip, so we aren’t local, but if we were we would definitely go back. We all 100% recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

STILL THE BEST!!! We have visited Serafini 3 times over the past few months. Each time has had wonderful food and service. I enjoy the lasagna, my husband likes the capital burger and the salmon. Located in downtown Frankfort, Serafini has much to offer with drink selection, food quality, and ambience. We enjoy the aesthetic and the vintage feel of this little restaurant.

This is a linen tablecloth restaurant but we were welcomed in wearing shorts and casual attire. Staff made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious: Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmigiano, Beef Tips. There was live entertainment as well. I wish I would have gotten his name. He had a great voice, played music we remembered from our younger years, and did not overpower our dinner but enhanced the atmosphere with a perfect volume and sound. Great dining experience.
